Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:32 KJV

Sitting in Dallas traffic can try the patience of the most patient of Saints. I sat in the gridlock of I-635, mentally chastising myself for not paying attention to peak traffic cycles. It was 5:15 in the afternoon – where did I think I was going?? Why hadn’t I left sooner for my appointment?

As I sat there, I offered up a silent prayer for God to help me ward off frustration. I began to create a mental checklist of people and conditions I needed to pray for. I thought of the emails and text messages I’d received just that week from people requesting prayer. Many of them were in dire situations requiring the Lord’s divine intervention to see them through.

A good number of the people with the requests had been filled with dread, fearful of the outcomes they would experience if God didn’t move on their behalf. Forgetting about my destination and the cars surrounding me, in the true spirit of an intercessor I began to pray. I beseeched God to heal bodies, bring marriages back together, bring wayward sons and daughters home, and send financial blessings. Leaning over and reaching in my purse for a tissue, my eyes fell on the bumper sticker of a pickup truck over in the lane next to mine. Ain’t skeered! the sticker proudly proclaimed.

The words were simple, yet powerful. I immediately thought of Isaiah 41:10, and the Lord sending words of encouragement to His people. We had no reason to fear or be dismayed because He – the God of all creation – is with us. There is no need to fear calamity and negative outcomes because regardless of what we face, our heavenly Father promises to not only give us strength, but to help us. Not only that, He offers assurance He will take things even further: He will uphold us with His right hand of righteousness. Hallelujah!

Knowing this, we can rejoice. We have no reason to fear because not only will God help us, uphold us and sustain us, Jesus tells us it’s His good pleasure to not only do these things, but to give us the kingdom. We can face any obstacle, any trial, and any tribulation with confidence because the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is on our side. We ain’t skeered! Be Blessed.

  1. Overjoyed with tears and needed that confirmation! Thank You Evangelist Joyce AND THANKVYOU JESUS!!! I feel stronger, and saying boldly as I travel, THE MOST HIGH AND MIGHTY HAS MY BACK. I have been strong but exhausted with STUFF. Example: Flood of property, waiting on check from adjuster, loan on property until payroll or adjuster check that’s in the mail come in, wrecker looking for my car to repo, I should have large sum check NY Monday or Tuesday since not received yet today (Saturday), 3 day of training on new job with raise, distracted with seeing tow truck circle parking garage at work. Learned someone’s car stalled and they were taking it to shop. Again working with adjuster sending inventory, pics of each item, homework and evening 8 hour training for new job, still cleaning out and cleaning up contaninatef flooded stuff, praying, meditating, bible study and reading, deep breathing, exercising and all to not get overwhelmed, depressed or try to give up. Me setting underneath a tree in th shade with my windows down, sunroof opened bible opened, spending time with God, and then this message popped in from you. I said I would not open email or Facebook this weekend and would try to fast about 24-48 hours from it. You fb message and email message (as I cry now and say Thank You Lord) saved me. This is the truth. I been telling friends, I’m done, I can’t do this. They know that’s not me.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I also have to work, train late today and Sunday 8 hour shift. Satan WILL NOT make me a nervous wreck and have an anxiety/panic attack living in fear. My Psalm 23 ends with, AND I WILL/SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER-DEVIL!!! Blessings

  3. The only time we can be “skeered” is when we don’t believe His Word and trust in His Word!
When He says “I have not given you a spirit of fear(skeered) BELIEVE Him… because He is not a “man” (He is Spirit) that He should lie!! Satan is the father of lies. So we don’t need to be confused Who our Father is. When He says no weapon formed against us will not prosper.
He didn’t say it wouldn’t form but will not prosper. So Who’s Word are we going to read and believe? The Father of Truth or the father of lies? Selah

  4. I speak continued blessings over you and your ministry. How awesome that God choose you to go to Africa for such a time as this. I know that people will be touched and delivered under your ministry. You are the exception to the rule. You dance and praise to a different drum that most can’t hear. It was a privilege to meet you in Louisville and actually experienced a manifestation of a prophesy spoken there.
I touch and agree for a harvest of lost souls and those that have no hope will receive the love and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ!

  5. I was just listening to Tamela Mann and she was singing about God’s promise to never leave us or forsake. Which was very comforting. I also read in the Word about whose report will you believe? Think on good reports and this message is a good report. We ain’t skeered!

  6. That is so true.then why is it that voice continues to come in and distract and then tell you negative things.how dp ypu handle that?.

  7. Praised the lord. I have to hold on to this message. It is strong and powerful. Really have to work on not being so fearful and to just trust in the Lord and do my best and he will take care of the rest. And know that I am strong in the power of his might and I can do all things through christ who strengthens me.
